Delete your Gest account

Gest is the surrogacy companion app from Gest LLC. You can delete your Gest account at any time. This page describes how to do it, what data is removed, and what we retain for legal or tax compliance.
1. In the app (preferred, instant)
- Open Gest and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Privacy & Data.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account is removed immediately.
2. From this page (if you no longer have the app installed)
Enter the email address on your Gest account below. We'll send a verification link to that address. Click the link within 7 days to confirm. We complete the deletion within 30 days of confirmation.
3. By email (last resort)
If you can't use the form, send a request from your registered email address to hello@thegest.app with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
4. What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (Supabase Auth identity).
- Your profile (name, photo, role).
- Your journey membership(s).
- Your messages, photos, and documents stored in the vault.
- Your birth plan, checklists, and AI companion chat history.
- Your push notification tokens.
5. What is retained (legal and compliance)
- Subscription transaction records held by RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play — retained per applicable tax and consumer-protection law (typically 7 years in the United States).
- Anonymized analytics events that contain no personal data and cannot be linked back to you.
- Audit logs of the deletion request itself.
6. Partial data deletion
If you only want to remove specific items — a single message, appointment, document, or photo — without closing your account, you can delete them individually inside the app.
