Gest is the surrogacy companion app from Gest LLC. We're here to help intended parents and gestational carriers get the most out of the Gest app.

For general questions, account issues, and feature feedback: hello@thegest.app. Typical response within 1 business day.
For bug reports, please email bugs@thegest.app with a description of what went wrong, your device model, and the app version (see Section 4).
If you have the Gest app installed, the fastest path is in-app: open Gest and go to Profile → Help & Support. From there you can email us, chat with the AI companion, browse common questions, or file a bug report directly.
2. Common help paths
- Sign-in trouble: Gest uses Apple Sign-In and email-based sign-in. If you can't sign in, make sure you're using the same Apple ID or email address you originally signed up with. If that still doesn't work, email hello@thegest.app from your registered address with a short description of what happens.
- Billing & subscriptions: Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. To cancel, change, or request a refund, open your device's subscription settings. Apple and Google handle refunds per their own policies.
- Inviting your partner or surrogate: Open the Gest app and go to Profile → Invite to Journey.
- App not working as expected: Close and reopen the app, then update to the latest version from the App Store / Play Store. If the issue persists, email bugs@thegest.app with your device model and the app version (see Section 4).
3. Deleting your account
You can delete your Gest account at any time:
- In the app (instant): Open Gest → Profile → Privacy & Data → tap the deletion option in the "danger zone" section.
- From this website: Go to thegest.app/delete-account and follow the verification flow.

4. Finding your app version
Open the Gest app and go to Profile → About. The app version is shown at the bottom. Including it in support requests helps us reproduce what you're seeing.
5. Frequently asked questions
Is Gest free?
Gestational carriers always use Gest free. Intended parents have a free tier and a paid subscription. See the App Store or Play Store for current pricing.
Can my surrogate use Gest too?
Yes — invite your surrogate from inside the app. She joins as a gestational carrier with full access to your shared journey at no cost for the duration of your subscription.
Can I have more than one journey?
Yes. Gest supports multiple journeys per account — useful for sibling journeys or for gestational carriers with more than one match.
Is my data private?
Yes. Sensitive documents in the vault are encrypted on your device before upload. We don't sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for the full details, including how we handle reproductive health information and law-enforcement requests.
Does the AI companion give medical or legal advice?
No. The Gest AI companion provides general information about the surrogacy process. It is not a substitute for licensed medical, legal, or financial professionals. Always consult a qualified attorney, doctor, or financial advisor for decisions about your journey.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the subscription settings on your device (Apple App Store or Google Play). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Apple and Google handle refunds per their own policies.
